Bold AI is an AI transformation company.

We help enterprises change how they work with AI — how they run, how they get found inside AI answers, how they make content at the volume the moment demands. Plenty of firms will sell an enterprise a deck about that. We build the platforms that make it true.

WHO YOU ARE

You're AI-native with a killer sense of aesthetics, and you're proud of what you’ve built by bridging brand-new technology to the person who has to use it. Your job is to make the build feel good-looking, obvious and effortless.

You own the whole lifecycle. You don't just relay research, you study it — then wireframes, usability testing, high-fidelity design, and a handoff so specific nobody Slacks you at 11pm asking about spacing.

Your handling of a design system is like muscle memory. You run AI-assisted prototype sprints that go brief to clickable in a day or two.

You know the difference between a Claude prototype that's good enough to sell the idea and a screen that needs hand-built thinking and pixel-precise execution. Knowing which is which, quickly, is a major plus.

Your judgement in typography, colour, layout and hierarchy is a hard requirement. You have opinions and you can defend them in a room.

Figma + AI plugins, Claude, ChatGPT, Adobe CC, Linear.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Remote work EST. We're in Toronto and we work in real time, together.
• Research and strategy. Get into the research and the survey data, find the pain that's actually there, and turn behaviour into design decisions you can point to.
• Information architecture. Sitemaps, user flows, journey maps. Navigation nobody needs a tutorial for.
• Wireframing and prototyping. Wireframes, storyboards, interactive prototypes — enough to communicate the idea and the interaction, fast.
• Visual design. The whole look and feel. Graphic elements, type, colour, layout.
• Testing and iteration. Run the usability tests, take the feedback at face value, fix the problem, ship the better version.
• Collaboration. Work with PMs, developers, and stakeholders so what gets built is what got designed — on brand, technically sound.
• Use AI to pressure-test and extend the work. Not to skip the thinking.
• Keep it on-brand and platform-native. Generic AI output is the one thing we won't ship.
  

WHAT YOU’RE BRINGING

• A portfolio that holds up. Digital, social, brand. Show us the range — and the directions that got killed. We're as interested in your judgment as much as your output.
• 8+ years of proven time as a UI/UX designer, with shipped web and mobile work behind you. Fluent in Figma.
• A Bachelor's in Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or something adjacent — or the body of work that makes the question irrelevant.
• The human part. You solve problems, you feel for the end user, and you can walk a room through your reasoning without hedging. You work collaboratively with the Bold AI team and stakeholders.

IT WOULD BE EXTRA NICE

If you’re also into motion or 3D graphics and have strong iconography or illustration chops.

Contract: Full-time, must be 100% available Aug 10 – Sept 18 Hours: EST, Toronto
