Overview

Join Eversports as our new Senior Software Developer! Help us revolutionize sports accessibility through our B2C and B2B applications! Develop high-performance features for our platform, drive initiatives, making it easier than ever to find, book, and pay for sports activities whilst contributing towards our mission “Make sports happen!”

Work time: Full-time (35h/week, every second Friday off!)
Planned start: Immediately
Location: VIENNA, Austria

Your Tasks

• Develop stable, scalable, and high-performance features and improvements for your team's applications.
• Lead technical discussions, provide solutions, and meet delivery goals.
• Drive modernization, automation, and DX initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate with tech leads and engineers to select optimal architectures.
• Discuss user insights with the Product Manager and Designer for impactful solutions.
• Enhance code quality through pair programming and code reviews.
• Use automated testing to boost platform stability and adaptability.
• Stay current with tech trends to find innovative solutions.
• Contribute your experience and enthusiasm to foster a supportive, team-first environment

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience developing web applications in mid- or large-scale production systems using a major programming language
• Experience developing web applications with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experiences with relational databases like MySQL or Postgres
• Experiences with at least one modern frontend technology (e.g. React, Vue.js, Angular)
• Experience in legacy system modernization and domain modeling
• Interest in utilizing distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Interest in utilizing cloud services on AWS
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

At Eversports, transparency is key. According to the IT Collective Agreement, the legal minimum annual salary for a full-time 35-hour week is EUR 55,000. However, we are pleased to offer a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 60,000 for a full-time 35-hour week, with potential adjustments based on position and experience level.
