We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses and products.
We are currently looking for SeniorΒ Backend Developers to join our teams:
- Infrastructure team: this team is responsible for ensuring the stable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant operation of backend services. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform
- Client team: this team is responsible for handling all API requests coming from our mobile applications and the Joom web client. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Redis, Casandra, Kafka, ΠΈΠ½ΠΎΠ³Π΄Π° Spark (Scala, SQL), Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus
- Marketing Automation: this team responsible for automating marketing and optimizing its effectiveness. We are responsible for both external marketing (advertising purchases) and internal marketing (direct communications via push notifications/emails). We provide the infrastructure and tools for effective marketing. Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka. We also occasionally work with the frontend or data stack. Experience or interest in working with the data stack (e.g., Spark) is a plus
- Merchant Development: this team is responsible for the B2B part of our project (developing the seller dashboard and APIs for our merchants). Tech stack: Go, MongoDB, Elastic, Redis, ClickHouse, Kafka, Spark (Scala, SQL)
Responsibilities
- Come up with architecture
- Program in Go (Go is not a must for us; it is more important for a successful candidate to have solid algorithm skills, fundamental technical knowledge, and great coding skills in general)
- Provide fault tolerance for coded services in an AWS environment
- Be prepared for a constant increase of processed and stored data loads and volumes
- Participate in new feature and product development discussions
Requirements
- Confident knowledge of any of the programming languages: Go/Java/Kotlin/C++/Python/Scala
- Complex project development experience
- Excellent algorithmic training
- Experience in development for Linux / Unix
Preferred
- Experience with highload
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Kubernetes
