Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable Java microservices.
• Building and maintaining cloud-native applications using modern architectures.
• Developing RESTful APIs and integrating distributed services.
• Working with containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implementing observability using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Contributing to event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Applying software engineering best practices including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.
• Collaborating with international engineering teams through code reviews, pair programming, and agile development practices.
• Troubleshooting production environments and continuously improving platform reliability and performance.
• Leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Experience building distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with database design and modelling.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Practical experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Gemini.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, particularly Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working within international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging.
• Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Golang.
• Experience designing and developing APIs using REST and OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
